Services

Although the mission of The Help Foundation is to provide relief to the poor, distressed, or underprivileged, we do not provide direct programming other than coordinating community service activities through our Clean Up / Man Up / Build Up initiative. Thus, our work is organized in to the following four service categories.

The Help Foundation – Fundraising

We work with volunteers and professionals to raise money for their causes, which coincides with one or more of the Social Determinants of Health. This includes food, clothing, safe shelters, and more.

The Help Foundation – Fiscal Sponsorship

We work with individuals and organizations to assist with obtaining grants and other tax-deductible contributions. This may include advisory services in budgeting, accounting, strategic planning, and program development. Some organizations require fiscal sponsorship services which include governance, management, and operational infrastructure.

The Help Foundation – Philanthropy

We work with community development financial institutions to offer philanthropic services for nonprofits, which can include institutional investment platforms and specialized services.

The Help Foundation – Education and Engagement

We work with local community stakeholders, including individual activists, grassroots organizations, neighborhood businesses, government agencies, and philanthropic organizations to facilitate networking among potential donors and funders. This includes informing grantmakers, nonprofits, and the public on philanthropic practices and issues.
